Stocks :: Search Command

The stocks search command in Google is now largely redundant as the search engine now automatically places stock information in the onebox when searchers search for stock symbols. The stocks search command ensures that Google treats all the remaining keywords as stock symbols.

Stocks :: the Google search command

Synposis: Show onebox information for a single stock symbol or link to compare multiple symbols
Sample search: Stock market information on Google

The Stocks search command at Google returns a stock market onebox share price graph if it is used in conjunction with a single stock symbol. Google includes links to Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, MSN Money, MarketWatch, CNN Money and Reuters and a numeric market summary.

When used with more than one stock market symbol Google displays a graph icon and a link through to Google Finance. The Google Finance page displays a graph comparing the stocks and offers links through to company information.
